A Forward-Looking Strategy Demonstrated by Actions

To act credibly and consistently, we have implemented concrete tools to measure our sustainable initiatives: impact report, OEF calculation of our environmental footprint, tracking of actions aligned with the 17 SDGs, and more. These are all levers to provide an honest assessment and build an ambitious sustainability plan for the years ahead.

On this page, discover how RMB structures and shares its forward-looking strategy transparently, both with its employees and all stakeholders in the advertising ecosystem.

Our impact report reflects our commitment to sustainability

An impact report lists the concrete actions taken by an organization to promote practices aimed at a positive impact, both socially and environmentally. It reflects sustainability commitments by assessing their reach using clear indicators, aligned with frameworks such as the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Since 2023, RMB has published an annual impact report, a transparency and management tool. This report allows us to track progress, set new goals, and, with our teams, partners, and clients, advance our sustainability plan. Externally, this plan aims to:

  • strengthen the presence of sustainability-related products in our advertising offer
  • expand key partnerships with committed collaborators
  • create innovative formats to encourage behavior change
  • share our tools and best practices with the wider market

We believe in an open, collaborative agency capable of leading the way in creating more sustainable, fair, and inclusive marketing. Do you share our ambition to reinvent advertising with meaning and impact? Ready to join us?

Our OEF report evaluates our environmental footprint

The OEF report (Organization Environmental Footprint) is a methodological framework developed by the European Commission to standardize the measurement of an organization's environmental footprint. It is based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach and considers 16 environmental indicators (carbon, water, resources, toxicity, etc.).

The OEF report assesses a company's overall impact by covering three main scopes: internal activities (energy consumption, emissions, resource use, and waste production), upstream activities related to suppliers (raw material or purchased product manufacturing, transport, suppliers' energy consumption and emissions), and downstream activities related to sales (distribution of finished products, customer use of products or services, and end-of-life treatment of products).

Which indicators to track the performance of our actions?

Sustainability is not decreed, it is proven. Impact reports, OEF reports, inventories, or other measures... At RMB, we translate our commitments into performance indicators that measure the impact of our actions, both socially and environmentally. And we share this data with you !

Here are some key figures for 2024:

  • 82 in-house employees gathered in a "Advertising Fresco workshop".
  • 5,063 km traveled by our employees using our shared bike fleet.
  • 4 charities supported thanks to our teams' involvement.
  • 1 equity investment in the startup Balnz, the only app encouraging youth to reduce mobile screen time.
  • 7 committed presentations within the advertising sector to share visions, experiences, and beliefs about sustainable transition.
  • 4 advertising solutions ,specifically developed to meet the expectations of committed advertisers.
  • 1 coaching offer to help advertisers better integrate the learnings from the Greenlight study and strengthen the authenticity of their more responsible communication.

At RMB, every indicator reflects a real commitment. And you, where are you on your own journey towards transition  ?
